"Seaboard works within the project schedule, in a professional manner and in cooperation with the General Contractor and the Sub-contractors. We look forward to working with them again, and that's the recommendation that counts."

Caissons Solve The Problems
No job is too large or too small to discount the use of caissons. The
versatility of modern earth boring equipment and techniques assures you of a
safe and economic drilled caisson foundation under most sub-surface conditions.
Some Advantages Of Caissons Over Other Foundation Methods
-
No mass excavations or backfill.
-
No forming.
-
No reinforced steel, except in usual conditions of uplift, shear, etc.
-
No caps. Pile clusters are usually replaced by one caisson.
-
Belling the bottom allows the spreading of the load on strata too deep for
spread footings or too weak for small-diameter shafts or piles.
-
Positive identification of proper bearing. The use of large-diameter shafts
will allow the engineer to personally inspect the founding material. The danger
and uncertainty of relying on a drive formula or other theoretical method is
eliminated.
-
Early occupancy. In many instances, added revenue is produced by early
occupancy resulting from a faster foundation installation.
-
Low vibration and noise level. Our modern drilling equipment operates with less
noise and vibrations than conventional pile driving equipment, thus reducing
damage to existing structures and annoyance to neighboring occupants.
