Project Engineer Kassandra Kromish receives a DFI WiDF Professional Development Grant.
Kassandra holds a bachelor's and master’s degree in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she interned with the New York State Department of Conservation, RPI research, and Langan Engineering. Once she completed her degree, she began her career at Langan as a Staff Engineer. She joined Keller in 2022 as a Project Engineer, specializing in ground improvement techniques, like rigid inclusions and aggregate piers. She is a member of DFI and Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
About the DFI WiDF Professional Development Grants
The Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) Educational Trust and the DFI Women in Deep Foundations (WiDF) Committee provide professional development grant opportunities to women involved in design and construction of deep foundations. The grants provide free annual conference registrations and are used to cover lodging, meals, and travel for the recipients to attend the annual DFI conference and WiDF reception.
